Air shipping
Air freight uses an air transport stage. Discuss the route, shipment dimensions, weight and contents so the team can review availability and acceptance requirements. An air service name alone does not establish a delivery date; collection, processing, connections and final delivery are also part of the arrangement.
Land and road shipping
Land or road shipping uses overland transport for the booked stage. It can cover collection, regional movements or final delivery, depending on the route. Provide accurate addresses and tell the team about loading access, unusually sized pieces and any handover arrangements that need to be coordinated.
Sea and container shipping
Sea transport may be considered for container cargo and other suitable shipments. Share the cargo description, volume, weight, loading locations and requested equipment. Confirm the transport scope, loading responsibilities and any collection or final-delivery stages in the written arrangement rather than assuming they are included.
Rail and multimodal transport
Rail transport uses a rail stage. Multimodal shipping combines more than one method, such as road collection with an air or sea stage. Ask which stages are included, which parties handle the shipment and how handovers will be recorded. The selected method should reflect the actual booking.
Choose a method with the right information
Provide your origin, destination, preferred dates, package count, packed measurements, contents and handling requirements. Ask the team to confirm suitable options and pricing. The original receipt shows the method selected at registration; the tracking page shows later status updates and checkpoints.
